Today’s technology landscape is more complex than ever before.
Organisations operate within a vast galaxy of interconnected systems, platforms and capabilities. Each technology – whether a core business application, an AI model, or an emerging platform – acts like a star or planet with its own gravitational pull. Some shine as waypoints that guide strategy; others orbit quietly yet critically around them.
Understanding these forces and their interdependencies is critical for helping leaders chart clear and intentional paths through an increasingly complex digital universe. One where success lies in becoming skilled navigators: reading the skies, recognising which stars are rising, and positioning your business to accelerate, innovate, and discover new frontiers.

Just like celestial bodies, technologies rarely exist in isolation. Their orbits intersect, interact, and sometimes collide, creating new possibilities or unexpected disruptions. Partnerships, integrations, and communities form the constellations that give shape and meaning to the broader ecosystem. So how do you chart a path through those complex inter-relationships? That is what this community hopes to explore…
Presenter: Community Lead, plus AWS

Cloud is more than a platform. Data is the driving force behind business reinvention. AI is both a cultural transformation and a competitive advantage. And progress requires leaders to unify those disparate elements and leverage all the capabilities at their disposal – both in-house and across the wider partner ecosystem. So what does successful partnership look like, and how can it be a catalyst for business change?

Build and Transform: Future-Ready Foundations in a Fast-Paced World
Traditional IT leadership has evolved. In the digital age, the lines between roles and responsibilities have become blurred: IT, data and operations are now viewed as a single transformation engine, driving automation, intelligence and adaptability across every part of the business. So how do you bring order to a potentially chaotic transformation agenda, and build a technology foundation that’s fit for the future?
Moderator: Community lead; Panellists: x3 community members

Each group will have a discussion outline and five questions inspired by real-life challenges and/or opportunities from the community. We suggest no more than 10 attendees per group (fewer is better, as we want everyone to share experiences and insights). One moderator. Moderators are there to open and guide the discussion. Outcomes will be recorded and reported back in a post-event report.
Host: Community Lead + individual group moderators

Following the breakout discussions, an opportunity to share the learnings from each group – and start the process of creating a community roadmap for 2026. What came out of those discussions? Where do the shared challenges lie? And what does emerging best practice look like when it comes to solving them? The ideas exchange is an opportunity to set the community learning agenda for the rest of the year.

The future is bright. But breaking free of legacy systems, mindsets, and ways of working remains the biggest blocker to true transformation success. So where can we take inspiration from? Who is doing this well? What did they do differently in order to effect meaningful change? And what can we learn from those experiences? Because we all need a little inspiration sometimes.
