Building the Intelligent Enterprise
Venue: Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, Amsterdam
European enterprises are moving from digital transformation to intelligent transformation, where AI, automation, and predictive analytics are integrated into every process. However, many organisations still struggle with legacy systems, fragmented ecosystems, and siloed knowledge. This theme explores how technology leaders are modernising architectures, connecting data across boundaries, and creating interconnected environments that learn, optimise, and collaborate at scale.

The Defining Shift: From Technology Excellence to Human Experience Excellence in the Age of AI
I used to celebrate launch days. Today, I celebrate adoption days. AI taught me that a brilliant model without a trusted experience simply accelerates confusion. In this keynote, I share the turning points that reshaped how I lead technology: moments where listening mattered more than features, where a checklist beat a technology hero, and where transparency turned skeptics into partners. I’ll unpack a practical, human‑first playbook for AI at scale: win hearts (care, listen, be present), win minds (rigor, clarity, reliability), and then convert early wins into enterprise habits. These are lessons I learned in real rollouts, in real pressure, with real people. The promise of AI isn’t that it changes everything overnight. It’s that it changes someone - one employee, one workflow, one team. And then you scale that experience.

Mission Tracks: The Catalyst
Track 1: Unlocking the Intelligent Enterprise: Turning Video into a Strategic Data Asset
European enterprises are moving beyond digital transformation toward intelligent, self-optimising operations. Yet many organisations struggle to connect systems, govern data, and create the visibility required for automation and AI to deliver real value.
For many technology leaders, the biggest blockers aren’t strategy or ambition, they’re hidden blind spots. Large volumes of unstructured, information-rich data sit across fragmented platforms, outside core architectures, and often outside governance, compliance and security frameworks.
In this session, we’ll explore how technology leaders can modernise legacy thinking, unify fragmented ecosystems, and expose overlooked data sources that limit enterprise intelligence. Using video as a practical example of unstructured data at scale, we’ll examine how organisations can turn previously invisible assets into governed, interoperable inputs for automation, insight, and resilience.
Track 2: Modernising the Data Platform for AI
Today, effective AI implementation begins with transforming the data foundations that underpin every insight, workflow, and decision. European organisations face a dual challenge: modernising legacy infrastructure while safeguarding data integrity, privacy, and security in increasingly dynamic environments. This workshop explores how leaders are evolving data strategies, shifting to cloud-native architectures, managing diverse and rapidly expanding data types, and integrating security and governance into every layer of the platform. The goal: create a flexible, trusted, future-ready data foundation capable of powering enterprise-wide AI.
Track 3: Secure by Design
Cybersecurity is no longer just a downstream control; it must be integrated into every layer of modern transformation, from architecture to culture. With AI-driven threats increasing, budgets tightening, and compliance demands expanding across the EU, tech leaders need to balance agility with assurance. This theme examines how organisations are operationalising security from the ground up, using automation and intelligence to anticipate threats, respond effectively, and support long-term business objectives.
Track 4: Operationalising AI at Scale
AI promises transformative value, but many organisations remain unprepared for enterprise-wide deployment. Fragmented governance, unclear accountability, overloaded teams, and poor data foundations all hinder progress. This theme explores how leaders can shift from experimentation to scaled impact – establishing trustworthy governance, prioritising limited resources, and embedding AI into processes, decisions, and customer experiences across the organisation.

The Provocation Tables
For tech leaders, provocation tables create a space to confront the real tensions shaping enterprise technology decisions. They frame issues like AI governance, cloud sovereignty, cybersecurity regulation, resilience, and GenAI not as binary choices, but as trade-offs between innovation, risk, speed, and control, helping CIOs, CISOs, and boards stress-test strategy, clarify ownership, and align on what “good” really looks like in an increasingly regulated and volatile environment.
