The Infrastructure Everyone Modernised Around

Modernising the infrastructure beneath the enterprise

Most enterprise transformation programmes have moved applications, identity and data to the cloud, but document, print and ERP output infrastructure often hasn’t. It remains dependent on ageing servers, manually managed drivers and on-site queues supporting critical processes across warehouses, branches, wards and back offices. It rarely gets attention until something fails: a work order stops, a label doesn’t print or an invoice or patient document is delayed.

Now, two major technology transitions are converging. Microsoft is moving Windows away from the traditional third-party print-driver model, while organisations running SAP ECC are approaching the end of mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7 in 2027. Many enterprises will therefore be modernising the ERP systems that generate critical business documents at the same time they need to rethink the infrastructure that delivers them. With both transitions landing inside FY27 planning, the opportunity is to address them together rather than wait until deadlines force the issue.

Join Vasion and a select group of your peers as we explore how to modernise this overlooked infrastructure using the teams and budgets already in place. We’ll discuss aligning print and ERP output under a consistent security posture, reducing operational risk and creating a foundation for greater automation and agentic workflows, without another year-long transformation programme.
