Change is the new normal. Around the globe, the business arena is constantly evolving and the velocity of that change will only increase in the years to come. Business change can be large-scale, such as a merger or the shift to a new CEO, or day-to-day change – on-boarding a new tech system or moving to a new workspace. In this presentation, Dr. Natalie Baumgartner will help organizations learn what it means to be resilient in the face of constant change and how to thrive, rather than simply survive. Understanding how to build a resilient workplace must be a top priority and area of focus for organizations looking to adapt and grow. Yes, we need to engage employees, but this conversation furthers that focus by establishing the fundamental building blocks we need to ensure organizational success today and into the future. Dr. Natalie Baumgartner answers the big question, “How do we set organizations up for success in these times of change?”

Corporate culture measured: how talent analytics & AI can help you hire for "best fit" & knowing team culture can lead to optimal performance
headshot of Juan Luis Betancourt
Juan Luis Betancourt
CEO - Humantelligence, Inc.

How is your organization defining culture? More important, how are you (accurately) measuring it? Are you using science or data to hire for “Best Fit” culturally in terms of optimal behaviours, motivators, and work styles for the role and/or team? Companies do not know how to measure culture accurately (other than bias-laden, top-down surveys), and team leaders would struggle to articulate their own Team Culture of people they see and work with every day, unfortunately. So, if these leaders who do most of the hiring in an organization cannot articulate or measure their own team culture, then how are they hiring for “culture fit”? This has led to bad hires, misaligned culture, low engagement and high turnover. Until recently, measuring your company, or team culture, with accurate data was an HR dream. Today it is very possible. The talent insights from this process can help a company optimize performance, improve engagement, and improve leadership at every level.

In this session, participants will learn the importance of measuring culture at both a team and corporate level – and how to do it – as well the importance of combining AI with Talent Analytics to identify cultural fit to ensure an employee’s success in a role and to optimize team and organizational performance. The session will be followed by a comprehensive Q&A.

Key takeaways:
1. The importance of measuring culture at both the team and corporate level
2. How talent analytics can measure culture at the team, division and company level and how AI will help predict optimal teams and employees
3. Best practices for assessing culture fit during recruiting
4. How to measure team culture, and the key reasons why you should be examining your organization’s culture at every level
