Banking on better: digital futures for measuring and reporting ESG performance in finance and insurance

IN-PERSON EVENT
17 April 2024, London 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm BST

Dinner Location: Jeru, Mayfair

How can BFS&I firms overcome Scope 3 emission reporting challenges to meet their net-zero goals by 2050?

Good evening...

Many Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFS&I) firms aim for net-zero emissions by 2050, but so many do not succeed. This is due to challenges in measuring and reporting impact, emissions and especially those of Scope 3 activities.

These challenges include data availability, confidence, and measurement methods, particularly in ‘Category 15’ associated with investments and advisory services. This raises concerns about reporting accuracy, prompting questions on risks, data management and the role of digital solutions.

Key inquiries involve understanding emission reporting challenges, data’s importance not least with Scope 3, and identifying best practices and additional use-cases for digital solutions to bring co-benefits to BFS&I businesses.

But where do you start? Over the course of this evening, we will explore the most effective and strategic ways to approach this challenge. From the entire team at Meet the Boss and Cognizant, we look forward to hearing your thoughts and providing you with the right discussions to keep you on course, every course.

Bon Appétit!
