  • Silver was awarded to both Lisa Gregorian, President and CMO for Warner Bros Television Group and Blair Rich, President of Worldwide Marketing for Warner Bros Pictures for their joint efforts throughout 2020. Bronze was awarded to Michael Rardon, Head of Marketing at JackRabbit and Itay Rahat, Associate VP, Consumer Marketing Technology for Warner Music Group.

9th December 2020, Bristol, UK: In recognition of outstanding technological marketing efforts throughout 2020, GDS Group is proud to announce the winner of its annual ‘Digital Marketing Leader of the Year Award’.

Mikio Fujitsuka, Head of Global Consumer Care, Office of Marketing Value for Johnson & Johnson has been awarded Gold thanks to his ongoing record of results for the medical device provider. He received the award during a live virtual ceremony at the North American Digital Marketing Summit 2020.

In addition to the medical devices that it develops and provides, Johnson & Johnson creates pharmaceutical, and consumer packaged goods. In addition, the corporation includes some 250 subsidiary companies with operations in 60 countries and products sold in over 175.

Mikio is currently helping to bring the mentality of a Chief Consumer Experience Officer (CCXO) to all direct consumer interaction with J&J brands worldwide. As part of this he is envisioning and implementing AI, machine-learning, big data & advanced analytics, and automation to unlock value for both consumers, the enterprise and 500 of his team members worldwide.

In awarding Mikio, the judges commented, “Driving such a high level of integrated transformation globally and taking on the reality of the market shifts is impressive. The use of new technologies and practices such as AI requires substantial oversight and governance and bringing in this level innovation comes with risk that has clearly been rewarded”.

“Having the foresight to move to direct working globally well ahead of the curve is a remarkable achievement and position the business better to serve their clients at a higher level through the crisis. Again the use of technology to transform the way call centres run and protect staff whilst helping clients is a terrific achievement”

In addition to the Gold “Healthcare Leader of the Year” award, two further awards were announced. In a Leadership Excellence Awards first, Silver was shared between Lisa Gregorian, President and CMO for Warner Bros. Television Group and Blair Rich, President of Worldwide Marketing for Warner Bros. Pictures for their joint efforts throughout 2020.

Additionally, Bronze was awarded to Michael Rardon, Head of Marketing at JackRabbit and Itay Rahat, Associate VP, Consumer Marketing Technology for Warner Music Group.
